Where in the World are TXST ADPi’s?
This summer, our sisters are traveling, studying abroad and hanging out in San Marcos. So, where in the world are Texas State ADPi’s? Keep reading to keep up with ADPi this summer!
Whether our sisters are taking a vacation or tackling an internship in a new place, they’re exploring the world in a new way. This summer, ADPi’s are exploring Costa Rica, Punta Cana, Spain, Grand Cayman, California and Alaska. But what’s better than taking a vacation? Traveling with a sister to Hawaii! Our sisters Liz and Samantha are exploring the island of Oahu to kick off their summer. They’ve relaxed at Waimea bay, jumped off the rocks at Waikiki beach and hiked Maunawili Falls. How cool is that?
On top of traveling for a vacation, our sisters are also taking on top internships and jobs across the country. You can find our girls working in Africa at an orphanage doing children’s ministry, Colorado for Young Life camp, San Antonio for a sales internship; Austin for an internship at the Capitol and Washington, D.C. for an internship on Capitol Hill. The girls of Alpha Delta Pi are traveling and resume building this summer
Traveling around the world and getting class credit for it? Sounds like a win-win to us. Our sisters are staying dedicated to their studies and having fun while doing it. This summer we have sisters studying abroad in Italy, Prague and Spain. One of our sisters, Kayci Meeks, is staying in the United States, but is going to be visiting different national parks around the country for a few weeks. Additionally, she’s getting class credit for this trip through the Mass Communications SJMC Parks program at Texas State. Talk about an incredible summer experience!
If you’re lucky enough to go to school in San Marcos, you’ll understand why we'd never want to leave. Summer in San Marcos is one of a kind. You can float the river, lay out by Sewell and go shopping at all the boutiques down town. So it makes sense that our sisters have a hard time saying good-bye! Wherever you end up this summer, you just might run into one of our sisters.
